Breathe Alone

I can never seem to find peace,
whether it’s the birds singing 
or the waves dancing,
the only place I can settle my mind is the place where I can go away,
and find the beauty in the feeling of being alone, 
or perhaps where I can fall in love with the reflection I see in the water.
I find peace in places that speak the truth to me in silence, 
a place where I can live without a worry.
I desire a moment where I can breathe alone, 
with just the sound of the wind,
in a place I can find beauty in life,
the only place where there wasn’t quite any beauty in my eyes.
