like vats of poison hidden in the dark
with every day that they mask themselves
your poison will make a mark
the youth can hear your silence
like rocket ships flying through the night
coming to their homes
and proving to them that their lives are not worth the fight
he has to starve his body just to feel control
she wants to feel like she can love whomever she wants
yet you cut them with your silence
because you are cowards
bending us all to your will
under the guise that it is the desire of a higher power
he will be beaten by the ones who are supposed to love him
