Letters written from my loved ones or birthday cards
are always my favorite gifts from people
because they are words from the heart.
There is nothing better, whether a good or bad emotion,
than writing everything down and simply letting yourself feel.
Much like those seeking comfort in long walks,
I write to clear my head
whenever the stress of school starts to become overwhelming.
Writing is not consistent in the slightest,
and as much as I cling to my writing, it is far from dependable.
Remember there is no right or wrong to writing.
I write to find a voice that’s loud enough for me to listen and look at,
reminding me that I’m ambitious.
I write so you can’t silence my words.
